3. Focusing on reply rather than the context of the conversation – Sometimes we just wait for our turn to reply and forget thes ubject of the conversation that leaves the issues unresolved. 

4. Assuming before reaching the conclusion – Sometimes toavoid the feeling of guilt and the fear of accepting a mistake makes people assuming the conclusion to end conversation even before its complete. 

5. Lack of openness to other perspectives – sticking onlyto own perspective and neglecting the other’s makes things worse.   

Here are some helpful tips to improve the communication    

1. Letting the person complete their point – avoid interrupting when the other person speaks as interrupting can turn the conversation into the arguments. 

2. Attentive listening - If you want other person to listen yourself then also give them the same attention when they speak. 

3. Empathizing with the person, for eg. I understand, Ican feel you. 

4. Showing interest and curiosity by asking questions rather than giving solutions
